The new Garey Hall Media Center at the Villanova University Department of Communications includes a black box theater and studio for both live performances and video production; a control room; media lab and media classrooms. A central common space designed to create a gathering area for students; provide space for impromptu presentations; and to mitigate the multiple level changes required by the various learning environments. The project was designed in collaboration with Blackney Hayes Architects in Philadelphia, PA.
