281 Park Avenue South, the headquarters of the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies, is a New York City Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our restoration work included cleaning and repair of the ornate limestone facade, replacement of the intricate terra cotta and copper roof and skylights, restoration of marble mosaic floors and replication of the interior’s many stone, wood and plaster details.
We upgraded all building systems in accordance with modern standards and built out and furnished the interior to include a conference center, offices, and a library/resource center for non-profit organizations.
