The new space for Gigantic Post, a state-of-the-art audio and video post-production studio, takes a different approach to post-production facilities. Gigantic's mission is to offer a home to film makers and provide turnkey finishing solutions. While the facility is technically complex and requires special acoustic environments, the studio feels like someone's personal studio. Gigantic Post includes two mixing rooms, four post-production edit suites, two ADR recording rooms, a Foley room, and two control rooms. In order to include these many functions into the limited space, several rooms are adaptable for multiple uses. This flexibility also allows the facility to host several projects simultaneously while maintaining an efficient workflow.
Many custom architectural features, such as sliding doors, clerestory windows, and millwork pieces, have been built into the studios. The custom details and finishes lend a signature feel to the facility, which also grounds it to the existing structure.
