Fir Tree Partners New York

Aesthetic

The financial world goes green with Fir Tree Partners, a fast-growing private investment firm committed to environmentally responsible design and a work and life culture respectful of people and their work environment. Kostow Greenwood Architects utilized design concepts from the design of their original New York headquarters and their Miami office as a basis of design for their relocated New York office, adapting it for an evolving modern day office. In response to the client's environmental commitment, this project was designed to exceed LEED Silver standards and employed many concepts of The WELL Building Standard.

Function

The design approach focused on creating a work environment receptive to constant change and collaboration. A common cafe acted as a symbolic heart for collaboration within the workspace. Surrounding the central heart are private offices faced with glass, open sit-to-stand workstations and corner breakout spaces were implemented to embrace natural light, flexibility, and comfort.
